Guidelines & Policies
We cater to our guests – and our animals. The Vancouver Aquarium is recognized internationally for the highest standards in animal and facility care – standards that have inspired some unique policies and procedures. Please read this section carefully, and review it with your Event Planner. We’re confident that your guests will understand and appreciate the need to make the well-being of the animals our first priority.
Facilities and Services
The Aquarium is an independent charitable society that leases its land from the Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation. The Parks Board is responsible for the parking policies, maintenance and security of Stanley Park itself. If special park requirements are necessary, our Event Planners may be able to assist you in working with the Parks Board on your behalf.
Music
Each gallery has its own unique sound characteristics, so please discuss any music plans with our Event Planners. They can suggest music options that will be appropriate for the specific location and the acoustic tolerance of the animals.
